ANZSPM welcomes new President - 12 September 2019 (12/9/2019)

ANZSPM has welcomed new President A/Prof Leeroy William at the annual general meeting this morning in Perth. A/Prof William takes over from Prof Meera Agar who completed her two-year term as President at the meeting.

Director Palliative Care - Metro North Hospital and Health Service, Queensland (26/8/2019)

Metro North Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Director Palliative care for the provision of clinical palliative care services, to inpatients, outpatients and in consultative services, management, leadership and co-ordination of the delivery of the palliative care service within Redcliffe Hospital, working collaboratively with Community and other Palliative Care services, and provide supervision and training of staff, including medical staff. The role of the Director Palliative Care Unit is to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service and encompasses all the roles described in the CanMEDs framework. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
