Second report of QLD inquiry into aged care, end-of-life and palliative care and voluntary assisted dying

The Queensland Parliament's Legislative Assembly's Health, Communities, Disability Services and Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Committee inquiry into aged care, end-of-life and palliative care and voluntary assisted dying has tabled its second report on 31 March 2020.
This second report includes 21 recommendations in relation to the Committee's findings on voluntary assisted dying. The Committee has recommended that the Queensland Government introduce a legislative scheme for voluntary assisted dying.
ANZSPM is currently reviewing the second report in detail and will consider this in the context of the Victorian and WA voluntary assisted dying schemes.
While ANZSPM works through the details of both inquiry reports ahead of the Queensland's government's response, we encourage members to email us at info@anzspm.org.au with any comments and feedback on the first report and/or second report;
