About the Role

To provide an opportunity to undertake a registrar rotation in palliative medicine in the Department of Palliative Care at CMN in the HNELHD region. The position will have supervision from specialist medical staff whilst undertaking learning and professional development as outlined by the Chapter of Palliative Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Duties (Include but not limited to)

Mentoring and supervision of JMOs.Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Assessment and management of palliative care patients and their families.Commitment to quality customer service. Competently operate within scope of practice under supervision. 

Skills and Experience (Include but not limited to)

MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency (AHPRA). 
Recent demonstrated experience at a senior resident or registrar level within a hospital setting.
Current Class 1A drivers licence.
Participation in quality improvement activities.
