International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care - 2021 Advocacy Course 

The IAHPC is releasing a 8 module course discussing a variety of topics relevant to Advocacy in Palliative Care 

When: October 2021 

The modules will be assessable via Google Classroom, addressing the following topics.  
- Global and regional advocacy framework, institutional landscape.
- “Drug Policy” - a cornerstone of advocacy for essential PC medicines.
- The evidence base - IAHPC data platform and other indices
- Needs assessments.
-  Governance frameworks: National/regional PC advocacy and strategic partnerships with other CSOs; relationships with member states.
-  Case study: Relevant PC advocacy topics in a UN entity conference agenda and development of appropriate advocacy strategy.
-  Communication and presentation techniques.
-  Leadership skills.
