Spirituality Training Working Group - Call For Fellow Nominations

18 July 2024

The Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (AChPM) Committee recognises the significance of spirituality in the experiences of patients, families, and carers.

The advanced curriculum in palliative medicine mandates that trainees consider end-of-life care preferences, including cultural and spiritual needs.

Despite this need, there are currently insufficient courses available. AChPM wishes to support skill development in this domain and the College plans to offer ongoing workshops.

ANZSPM has been asked to nominate two Fellows from our membership to join the Spirituality Training Working Group (STWG) who are engaged in this activity. The initial meeting of this group is planned for August 2024, with subsequent monthly virtual meetings of 30 minutes each until November 2024 at which time they will hold the virtual workshop.

We invite interested members who are Fellows of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FAChPM)  to submit your expression of interest for nomination to STWG.
